Derek Trucks and wife Susan Tedeschi played to an energetic crowd during a rare free show. Susan's powerful vocals reminded us of why she has been nominated for multiple grammy's while Derek's slide guitar playing was still second to none. A real treat to see this dynamic duo playing together in this new incarnation. The Artpark continues to provide great entertainment year after year, with free shows on most Tuesday and Wednesday nights throughout the summer.

Hoodie Good opened with a great set of tunes from his forthcoming album "Strange August". It's crazy how one guy can lay down such an assortment of sounds! Modern Field Recordings followed with Hoodie Good sitting in for most of their set. I was really impressed with their set and found myself being drawn into the lyrics of their songs.
